News Update 

 We look forward to our second concert this year, a recital by the Cypriot pianist, Martino Tirimo, Saturday 14th September, 19.30, at St. Cuthbert’s.

Among other notable achievements Martino Tirimo has recorded the complete piano works both of Beethoven and of Chopin; his programme in September will include the last, and what is perhaps the most challenging of Beethoven’s 32 piano sonatas; the second half of the programme is devoted to Chopin:  3 Mazurkas Op.59, Waltzes. Op. 64 no 2 and Op.42, Polonaise Fantasie, Op.81, and Mallade no.1, Op.23
